WAR and PEACE
By: ILP Doug.E.Barr

Let's have a war, we'll make some rules
So God won't think that we are fools.
We'll write them in an invention
We'll call the Swiss made Convention.
It shows to all that we are wise
The killing to legitimize.
So killing all will be OK
As long as in a humane way.
We'll say it is just fine to hate
But only outside prison's gate.

In city streets one shot we see
A crime against humanity.
In fields such as Afghanistan
Those killed are just part of the plan
To rid the world of all we find
That seem a threat to peace of mind.

But war is just a veil so thin
We use to hide the threat within.
We think winning will leave us buoyed
But find it does not fill the void.
Don't fill the void! All wars will cease!
In all the world there'll be one peace.
Just live within biology
Since from the void it sets us free.
