CHILDHOOD
By: S Price

Your ghost wonders through the house,
A shadow of your former self.
Where is you smile and
Sunshine happy laugh?

I was you joy, your pride,
But then I opened my wings.
You were left half proud, half sad,
Your other part had gone.

Now you are alone. Alone
In you daemon-filled world.
I cannot help you only
Care and love and hope

It is the second childhood
I want you back, my rock,
My lighthouse, my mother.
I miss you.
